Clubman Amaro and Cola

A complex long digestif drink for savouring. This variation on the classic Amaro and Cola is not an easy cocktail, yet the reward is high for experienced taste buds. Preparing the Clubman Amaro and Cola requires skill, love, quality ingredients and some patience. Just caramelising lime wheels will take you half an hour. No time for that? Go for a Clubman and Cola or a Cherry Clubman and Cola.

Ingredients

  • 45ml Haig Club Clubman
  • 25ml Cynar
  • 15ml Oleo-Saccarum
  • High quality craft cola
  • 1 Dash of Angostura Bitters
  • 2 Candied or caramelised lime wheels
  • Alcohol content: 17 grams

Equipment

  • Highball Glass
  • Jigger/measure
  • Peeler or knife
  • Chopping board
  • Pick

How to

step 1

Fill highball glass with desired amount of ice

step 2

Measure out 45ml of Haig Club Clubman and pour over ice

step 3

Add 25ml of Cynar

step 4

Add 15ml of oleo-saccarum

step 5

Fill the glass with high quality cola

step 6

Garnish with 2 candied or caramelised lime wheels on a pick
